Can you tap into the broader Northern Rivers community to raise the interests and capacity of St Andrews, Ballina. Many challenges confront the aged care industry and St Andrews is seeking to engage with its community to meet those many and varied challenges with the appointment of a Business / Promotions Officer.

Reporting to the General Manager and with the support of the Management Executive, this person will research those issues impacting on St Andrews, liaise with the community for resource support and develop strategies.

This is a new position and the appointee, together with the General Manager, will develop the scope and focus for the role. The role will be responsible for a range of activities including marketing, volunteers coordination, auxiliary committee liaison and donation promotion.

The appointee will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills together with business acumen. The successful candidate may not have a detailed knowledge of the aged care industry on appointment, but must be able to demonstrate how the broader community can contribute to the successful delivery of aged care services. The role will appeal to someone who is self motivated.
