Monash Health is an impressive organisation of seven public hospitals, 21 community health sites, five aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education. We provide healthcare for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between, and we have recently opened the new 230-bed Monash Children’s Hospital.

About the Role

This role is an integral part of the Monash Health Transformation Office of ensuring the continuous success of the team. Analysts will routinely interact with senior leaders and meaningfully contribute to one of the business’s top priorities by providing timely reporting and be first point of support to Wave (Project Management Software).

The main duties of the role are:
Support Transformation Office meetings
Provide Project Tracking Support
Problem-Solve ad-hoc issues

About You

Ideally you will possess:
Passion for/attention to detail
Insatiable curiosity for more value (how do I get more, faster)
Pragmatic Problem-solver
Ability to work effectively in a high pace environment
Ability to communicate well with roles of all levels
Modelling knowledge
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (ie Excel, PowerPoint)

What you need:
Tertiary and/or graduate qualifications in Commerce, Finance or a related business discipline.
Background in Financial Analysis and using Financial and Benchmarking information as a key decision support tool.
Commercial background with proven ability to develop and meet operational and budgetary objectives.
Preferable that the candidate is a Certified Practising Accountant within CPA Australia or Chartered Accountant within the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia or similar body.
