About the Role
The Early in Life Mental Health Service offers assessment, and treatment for infants, children and adolescents in the 0-18 age range in the southern region. We offer both inpatient and community treatment, individual, family and group treatment. We work with families who are experiencing difficulties with anxiety, depression, school refusal, eating disorders, self-harm, suicidal Ideation or psychosis. The Group Program Community Treatment Team provides a range of group therapy treatment options for children and adolescents aged 0-18 years, and their families.
We require a clinician who is able to work with young people within a multidisciplinary team environment. You will need to be able to think creatively and in a considered and reflective manner. Strong skills in working closely with your team members will be essential and the capacity to work intensively with a small group of young people is essential. A range of treatment modalities are provided as part of the group programs. This position will suit an individual who enjoys working collaboratively with children, young people and families to address their identified areas of concern.
This role is funded as a Grade 2 Allied health clinician (YB23,YB50,YC45), Grade 2 Psychologist (PK4), and Grade 3 Nursing (NP74).
