Right now we're looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our Residential Care teams at Labrina Village (located in Prospect) & Lourdes Valley (located in Myrtle Bank).

About The Role

The Maintenance Officer maintains a comfortable and safe living environment for the residents, staff and visitors to Southern Cross Care.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day and preventive maintenance of our residential facility, plant and equipment.

You’ll also liaise with suppliers and contractors, induct staff, advise our OH&S Committee and contribute to (or even initiate) special projects.

We are seeking an all round person with excellent maintenance experience and capabilities, as well as an ability to work in a team and relate to older persons.

Experience in Aged Care will be highly regarded.

All Southern Cross Care employees also require a current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care.
