About The Role

Fantastic new opportunity has come available for qualified and experienced FIFO Chefs to join the Assetlink team in providing first class customer service to one of our client’s remote villages.

This role is working on a permanent 2:1 roster based in the Pilbara Goldfields region, WA. The point of hire flying in/out of Perth, WA only and is due to commence mid-March 2021.

In this role you will be supporting the Head Chef to lead and motivate the catering team while maintaining a customer focused, secure and safe working environment.

Ideally you will have previous FIFO experience working within a mass-catering / kitchen environment, with an excellent understanding of safe food handling, sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas.

To be considered for the position you must have:
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
Current C class WA driver’s licence
Current National Police Clearance
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate & Senior First Aid (highly regarded)
Previous experience working within a similar remote environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and time-sensitive environment
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol tests
