My client is a very reputable and well known Not for Profit Organisation who are looking for a new Head of Finance to create a commercially focused, business partnering function. This role will be an initial 6 month fixed term contract, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Reporting directly into the CEO, you will be part of the executive team. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude who is agile in the way they work and is able to galvanise the finance function.

You will ideally have a good understanding of funding within an aged care/health care operation as well as experience with providing strategic input and possess a strong value add mentality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Finance function including a team with Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Statutory Compliance, Transactional Finance and Payroll.
• Statutory compliance and tax reporting
• Strategic input and advice to the board
• Overhaul of current board reporting to a more modern and commercial format
• Assist with future ERP implementation
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Adhoc analysis and reporting

Key Requirements:

• Rel event Degree qualification
• CPA/CA qualification
• Relevant experience in a large and complex environment
• Proven staff management of a team and finance function
• Thorough understanding of IFRS
• Experience in aged care/health care or not for profit organisation highly desirable.
