A permanent full-time opportunity has become available for an experienced Receptionist with an innovative, well established aged care provider in the Ipswich region.

With over 30 years history and a track record of focusing on achieving the best possible outcomes for residents and staff, this not-for-profit organisation operates a residential aged care facility, a retirement village and community services (including home care, day respite, transport and meals on wheels from one site).

As the first point of contact for residents and visitor you will be responsible for :

* Assisting with desk and telephone enquiries
* Ensuring efficient operation of the front reception area
* Stationery ordering and petty cash management
* General typing and data entry
* Maintaining files and documentation
* Processing payments

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate;

* Previous experience working in reception (minimum of 3 years)
* Warm professional presentation with a willingness to assist with all customer and resident enquiries in a sensitive and courteous manner
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work within a busy and constantly changing environment
* Self-motivated person with high levels of initiative and ability to work autonomously
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and keyboarding skills (minimum 35wpm at 98% accuracy)
* Previous experience using CARE system is advantageous

Due to the nature and responsibilities of this position, a national criminal history check will be required prior to any offer of employment being made (and any record of disclosable court outcomes or pending charges will be considered based on relevance to the position being applied for).

The successful candidate will also be required to provide evidence of 2020 Flu Vaccine or willingness to obtain.
