About The Role

We are now seeking an experienced Clinical Care Manager for our aged care home, Regis Sunraysia in Mildura.

Regis Sunraysia is a 73 bed aged care home located in the hub of town – just minutes from the famed Murray River to the north, Mildura Hospital to the south, Mildura Golf Course to the west and parks and shopping precincts to the east. Regis Sunraysia offers ageing-in-place, dementia care, palliative care and respite care.

The Clinical Care Manager provides clinical leadership, management oversight and development to all care staff throughout the Home including Clinical Team Leaders, Registered Nurses and Personal Carers.

Main Responsibilities Include

  • Full clinical oversight of all aspects of clinical care and services to our residents
  • All statutory, regulatory and internal clinical reporting and documentation
  • Staff training, provision of ongoing management and support to all care staff with a particular focus on developing and mentoring our Clinical Team Leaders and Registered Nurses
  • Oversight of all specialised nursing
  • Ensuring high quality care is delivered to our residents and staff are following/ adhering to the Aged Care Standards, legislative requirements and Regis Policies and Processes when delivering care.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the GM, multidisciplinary frontline team and other business support units.
  • Ensuring all staff adhere to safe practices and follow all WHS requirements
  • Participating and proactively engaging and implementing innovations .

To be successful in the role
  • You have previous experience, at least of 12 months experience as a Clinical Manager or Nurse Unit Manager in an acute setting
  • You are a qualified Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • You are an ambitious Clinical professional who is a proven self-starter
  • Your leadership approach is hands on, with a focus on customer service
  • You have a robust approach to managing your time effectively and ability to work within deadlines

Note- Remuneration for this role is negotiable based on experience and skills
