Deputy Director of Nursing - Maldon Hospital

Permanent Part Time – 72 hours per fortnight (0.9 EFT)

Maldon Hospital is seeking to appoint someone to this new position as a Deputy Director of Nursing (DDON) where they will progress our team and work with us to continue to improve the health and wellbeing of the Maldon community.

The DDON role has several direct reports including AHM's, NUM and Health and Wellbeing and is responsible for shaping the inpatient clinical care team culture. The position will support the EDON in ensuring high quality healthcare delivery with a strong focus on staff support including training, education and mentoring.

If you have a passion for all nursing with strong clinical skills in emergency care and prior experience in a leadership and education, this will ensure success in this role.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, with some afternoon shifts.

Maldon Hospital is located in a picturesque setting part way up Mount Tarrangower. Since its humble beginnings as a small wooden building in 1859, Maldon Hospital has partnered with the community delivering health services and contributing to a happy and healthy community. Today it provides residential aged care facilities, acute care, urgent care and community services.
