If you are a Physiotherapist with a background in Aged Care who is passionate about enhancing the quality of life, assisting in managing pain and chronic illnesses, keeping older adults and the elderly physically well this role is for you. 

As you will be joining a well established Not for Profit organisation you must be values driven and have a client centred approach in the quality of care you provide.

You will see clients in the residential Aged Care facility and in the surrounding community if required. You will collaborate with and work as part of a multidisciplinary team made up of Allied Health and medical professionals.

Services you will be providing:

• Conducting functional patient assessments
• Developing innovative treatment plans
• Providing individual one-on-one treatments & rehabilitation
• You will be responsible for the Pain Management program throughout the facility
• Electronically documenting treatments provided
• Communicating and keeping staff, families and health professionals up to date
• Providing rehabilitation and falls prevention initiatives to residents
• Manual handling education to facility staff

• AHPRA registration
• Relevant Physiotherapy degree
• A valid Australia Police Check and a can do attitude.
• Experience in aged care/with the elderly is not essential but is highly desirable
