The company

A leading electrical contractor has recently contacted me to find them an electrical estimator to join their team and to create a future and build on their career. The company have been going for over 12 years and are rapidly growing and constantly winning work.

Specialists within the commercial construction and fit out markets they have become household names in the industry with strong relationships with some of Australia's well known builders and fit out contractors. With experienced management teams this is your opportunity to take your career to the next level!

The role

Joining an experienced estimating team you will work collaborative to successfully tender medium sized projects. The position will allow you to lean on existing clientele as well as using your relationship building abilities to successfully bring more business to the team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must as you will be dealing with head contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. A challenging but highly rewarding role awaits for the right applicant.

You will:

• Have an extensive career in an estimating capacity
• Simpro & Excel experience desired
• Preferably have experience in the commercial and/or industrial sectors - office fit outs, schools, rail, aged care, healthcare
• Have successfully tendered medium projects
• Project values from $500k - $15M (electrical value)
• Have an eye for detail, patience in your practice but maintain your desire to win
• Show your industry knowledge and be able to draw on your contacts
