About The Role

We have a permanent full, part time and casual opportunities for experienced Level 1 RNs to join the team in our Oncology ward, to provide direct nursing care and support to patients and nursing staff within the unit.

We are a busy medical oncology unit specialising in oncology, hematology and palliative care, and we strive to make a difference in peoples lives - always putting the needs of our patients first.

What You Bring

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 12 months of Clinical experience in an inpatient setting
  • Ability to work in accordance with all policy and procedures pertaining to ACQSHC National Standards
  • A patient and family-centered approach to care delivery
  • Competency in clinical assessment, consultation, liaison and care provision along a continuum of care
  • Ability to identify and respond to the changing needs of individuals
  • The ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective computer skills to use clinical information systems and other applications relevant to role
