Administration Assistant - Casual
Classification: Administration Assistant Grade 1A or 1 (HS1A or HS1) dependent on experience
Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2016 – 2020
A fantastic opportunity exists within MDHS for a flexible, motivated and customer focussed individual to join the Administration team on a casual basis.
In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and outstanding administration support to a range of departments across MDHS including General Administration and Main Reception, Community Services, Medical Imaging, Acute Services, Residential Aged Care, Health Information and the Centre of Inspired Learning. Qualifications / Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of effective, efficient and confidential clerical administrative support.
Specialist Expertise
  • High level of competency in all Microsoft Office Suite Programs
  • Demonstrated excellent telephone skills with an excellent customer service focus
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate review of systems and procedures as applicable
  • Sound understanding of the importance of confidentiality and proven discretion in the handling of sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment with multiple demands.
Personal Qualities
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Committed, motivated, flexible and enthusiastic approach with availabilities from Monday's – Saturday's.
