Not for Profit Aged Care Organisation, located within the Yass region of southern NSW is looking for a suitably qualified hospitality professional Cook or Chef, ideally with strong aged care experience for a hands-on, part time basis (30-32 hours per week)

You will be responsible for ensuring the safe preparation, provision, and service of high-quality food to our residents.

This hands-on role is a great opportunity to be a part of the continued improvement of the dining experience for the residents as you produce a variety of meals that meet and exceed the nutritional and taste requirements.

To be successful in this role, you must be flexible and passionate about making a difference to the lives and wellbeing of others

Standard shift length range from 6am to 1.30pm

This Part time role is for an immediate start

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Experience in aged care or in the hospitality industry
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Industry or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of HACCP Essential
• Have a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Commitment to delivering high quality services
• Excellent time management skills with attention to detail
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
• Reliable, honest and trustworthy
