JOB DESCRIPTION

PERSOLKELLY is currently working on behalf of a well-known Not for Profit organisation that is currently looking for Facilities Managers to join their facilities in West Leederville & South of the River.

About The Role

  • To lead and manage the activities and services provided at site.
  • Optimise the utilisation of the facilities in line with business goals.
  • Ensure integrated, person-centred services are delivered to meet the needs of our customers in the residential aged care setting.
  • Manage the direction of the residential care facilities to improve performance where required.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures, controls, systems and people management approaches necessary to provide seamless residential care services.
  • Ensure that individual care plans are developed in consultation with residents and significant others and that care is delivered in accordance with the care plan.
  • Ensure that SCCWA residential facilities meet and exceed regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a role model for other staff both in terms of the care standard and residents rights.
  • Other duties as directed from time to time

Requirements
  • 3 years previous experience in a RN, DON or Facility Manger role.
  • Tertiary qualification in management or health care including but not limited to nursing.
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • A sound understanding of ACFI and associated reporting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of budget management.
  • Experience with meeting the requirements of the new Aged Care Quality and Safety standards.
  • Strong customer service and issue management skills.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal with all stakeholder levels.
  • A thorough understanding of continuous improvement principles.
  • A current Western Australian driver's licence
