JOB DESCRIPTION
Based at our office in Oakleigh, A rewarding leadership opportunity exists for a dynamic individual to join our Home Care team, to work in conjunction with the Regional Manager to lead the development and operational management of innovative and client directed centre-based social support services to older people and their families living in the community.
This position will lead the team of Care Advisors and Care Organisers based at our Oakleigh and Gippsland sites, currently managing Home Care Packages across the Southern Metro and Gippsland regions, with extensive growth planned in the coming months.

This is the place for you if you have:
Tertiary qualifications in Management, Business or a related discipline, and/or experience in management in Health or Aged Care
Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a successful team
Comprehensive knowledge of Best Practice and experience in assessment, care planning and service delivery for older people living in the community.
Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
Commitment to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
Are willing to work within the ethos of the Uniting Church
You will need:
A current Working With Children’s Check
Full Australian working rights
A current Police Records Check or be willing to undertake this process
A current flu vaccination and be prepared to meet this annual requirement
