Blue Haven Care is a not-for-profit organisation fully owned and operated by Kiama Municipal Council and offers a true continuum of aged care services and disability services for people in the local region; including in-home support, community groups and programs, independent living and residential aged care.
It is an exciting time to join our dedicated team as our brand new state of the art facility; Blue Haven Bonaira, provides the highest standard of seniors living, aged care and community facilities including a 134 bed residential aged care facility and 58 independent living units. The role:
As a Cleaner, you will need to ensure rooms and public areas of our care facility are cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Experience with the use and application of cleaning equipment & chemicals.
- Experience working with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and guidelines.
- Knowledge of WH&S guidelines and practices including personal protective equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service experience.
You will be a reliable and experienced commercial cleaning professional, who is available for an immediate start and enjoys working as an effective member of a multi-disciplinary team.
We offer:
- Permanent Part-time position, 32 hours per week
- Salary of $737.60 per week, based on 32 hours (plus applicable penalties)
- plus 9.5% superannuation
