The role:Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint engaging hospitality professionals to Part Time Catering Assistant roles at our aged care residence in Werribee.Roster: Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday 10am - 6pm, Saturday 6.30am-10am. Monday - Sunday 7am-3pm Various shifts available What this role involves: Assisting with basic, general food preparationCustomer service - serving our residents meals and snacksRe-stocking as required, and after meal periodsDishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areasMaintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practicesFast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a smileAssisting the broader team as required What we require from you: Previous experience assisting in all aspects of kitchen operations, food preparation and service provision in an aged care or similar catering environmentAbility to work well with other team membersA commitment to genuine, friendly customer serviceA motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitudeAble to work long hours often undertaking repetitive tasksAbility to work in a fast-paced time-sensitive environmentPride in personal appearance & hygiene
