Position Title: Cardiac Sonographer/Technologist
Employment Type: Permanent Part Time
Hours per week: 16 Hours per week
Position Grade: Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 - Year 1 to 3
Salary: $90,471.90 to $100,462.53 AUD per annum, to be pro-rata'd according to hours, plus superannuation

Position Summary
A vacancy exists in the above unit for a highly motivated Cardiac Technologist with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. Selection Criteria
- Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia .
- Qualified Sonographer who has attained a Post Graduate Degree in Sonography (or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent) and performs Cardiac Sonography or Electrophysiological Studies (EPS).
- Demonstrated experience in performing ECG and stress ECG.
- Demonstrated ability to provide the highest quality imaging and patient care.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills [written, verbal, telephone] with a clear ability to project a positive image, and effectively liaise and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated maturity, flexibility, discretion and judgement, and the ability to maintain the confidentiality of issues within the Department.
- Experience in high level organisational skills with ability to work both independently and as a team member ensuring that work is prioritised to effectively meet deadlines/ timeframes where attention to detail is essential.
- Understanding of and commitment to the principles of EEO, WH&S, cultural diversity and ethical practice.
