ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Based in Canterbury
  • Permanent part time position, 3 days/24 hours per week
  • An opportunity to support our multidisciplinary team in the provision of current interventions for families with children from birth up to 4 years.
  • Design clinical placements, facilitate and support child & family nurses & early parenting practitioners in developing appropriate knowledge and skills

ABOUT YOU:

  • Registered Nurse and Midwife with AHPRA
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment / Post registration qualification in education or working towards
  • Desirable - Post Registration qualification in Maternal and Child Health nursing
  • Experience in delivery of professional education and demonstrated commitment to evidence based practice is essential

Mercy Health O’Connell Family Centre is an early parenting centre located in Canterbury that focuses on the needs of vulnerable families and young children. The residential, day and community programs provide child-focused parenting skills to promote safe child development. Services include residential, day stay, educational and group programs for families with children aged 0-4 years.
