Managers & Administrative Workers - Grade 1A (HS1A)
$27.75 per hour + casual loading

Opportunities are currently available for motivated, experienced and enthusiastic people who have a rapport with the elderly to join our team as a Computer Clerk.
This position is located at Andrews House, our Aged Care Facility in Trafalgar.
This role involves reception duties and clerical duties, a range of computer work including data entry and basic administration duties such as filing and report generation and distribution.

This is a casual position used for backfilling regular staff members and does not have regular hours.

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong customer service approach.
  • A high level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • A sound knowledge of office procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including:
    • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Publisher.
    • The ability to mail merge
    • The ability to prepare reports by sourcing and combining data from a variety of sources such as Word, Excel and PDF documents.
    • The ability to create and manipulate graphs in Excel
    • Accurate and efficient typing and data entry skills.

The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is a customer focused health organisation providing acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential care and community health services to 45,000 people in the rural, urban residential, agricultural and industrial areas located within the Baw Baw Shire and beyond. The administrative headquarters are located at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul, approximately 100kms east of Melbourne.
