About the Role

This is an exciting time for Aboriginal Community Connect - Kurlana Tampawardli and a great opportunity for you to be a part of a growing, dynamic and supportive team of professionals providing onsite accommodation support for Aboriginal families.This role is responsible for:

  • Ensuring clients receive quality care service in short term 24/7 accommodation
  • Supporting clients to develop living skills to successfully maintain an urban tenancy.
  • Assist with development and delivery of project elements for community engagement, living skills and other portfolios
  • Providing quality communication and case notes and support work to achieve the aims of individual case plans

About You

You will have demonstrated experience working in homelessness sector and with aboriginal people.as well as:

  • A certificate IV or equivalent in Community Service or Project Management
  • Ability to work with cultural competency
  • experience in delivery of support work in the homelessness sector
  • knowledge of Housing and tenancy requirements
