The job duties include:
- Community support and engagement with activities
- Domestic assistance in the home
- Transporting clients
- Personal care (when required)
What you need to be a Disability Support Worker
- A caring nature and desire to help others
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours
- Have or willing to obtain a related qualification in Disability or Aged Care
- Own transport
- Pass a police check, and obtain First Aid
This role is located in the Blacktown area, and will require working between Toongabbie and Mt Druitt. The role is casual however stable shifts will be allocated. Pay rate is above award. Own transport is required for this particular role due to the travel.
