Best Choice Care are seeking an experienced compassionate carer. Experience working in aged or disability care required.
Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in either Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability or similar
- First Aid certificate
- Police clearance
- Manual handling
- Minimum 12 months experience in similar role (desired)
- Valid drivers license and car
- Italian speaking (preferred)
Your role will include
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Light household duties
- Meal planning and preparation
- Mobility assistance
- Reporting changes in health or behaviour
- Driving to appointments
Job Type: Casual
Salary: $47,059.00 – $57,516.00 per year

- Italian (Preferred)
Duties:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed
- Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the client
- Preparing food and feeding clients
- Responding to emergency situations
- Administering medication
- Transporting client to appointments
