About the Role


An opportunity has arisen for a Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant (AHA) within Monash Health.


We are seeking a Grade 2 AHA to join the Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology team at the Kingston Centre in a full time, ongoing. This exciting role involves assisting the Physiotherapy & Exercise Physiology team to provide care to, and implement individual and group treatment plans for patients across a diverse clinical caseload including Hydrotherapy, Geri-Orthopaedics, Geriatric Evaluation & Management (GEM), Movement Disorders and Neurosciences. Note: Hydrotherapy is a requirement of this role, so water confidence and safety is essential.


Additional duties may include assistance maintaining infection prevention standards, providing and maintaining equipment and administrative tasks that help deliver high quality patient centred care. Some travel between sites may be required. Monash Health has a growing and diverse AHA team and are committed to providing support and development opportunities to our workforce. We have a team of AHA’s and a strong program of supervision as well as professional development. This role will be supported by a Grade 3 AHA and have clinical supervision from a Grade 2 Physiotherapist.
