Human Resources Consultant - Human Resources Department

About the role

The Human Resources (HR) Consultant will provide advice on HR matters by partnering and consulting with leaders and employees to ensure a high level HR service delivery across the Hospital. The HR Consultant will develop and deliver on HR priorities and ensure that HR initiatives such as performance management, recruitment and employee engagement agendas are aligned with the compliance framework. The HR Consultant is responsible for ensuring the day-to day transactional processes and procedures are efficient and adapt in a changing environment.

What you bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in human resource management or related area.

  • Sound understanding of employee relations and industrial relations and demonstrated ability to manage HR operational activities.

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating transactional HR processes and procedures.

Calvary Mater Newcastle public hospital in Waratah, NSW, is an Affiliated Health Organisation of NSW Health. It is the major cancer care centre for the Hunter New England Local Health District, delivering more than 320,000 occasions of outpatient services and in a excess of 16,000 inpatient treatments per year.
