About the company

Working with a value based NFP organisation providing support & relief management across various residential facilities within the Northern suburbs of Queensland.

The role

As a Operations Support Manager, you will be supporting various aged care facilities with the day to day operational & clinical direction of each service providing relief management & oversight of each service when required.

You will have the ability to establish & build effective relationships ensuring that residents have a connection within the local community and have the confidence that they are included within their daily living & clinical care needs.

Alongside your clinical insight you will also have excellent operational & financial acumen with the ability to ensure KPI’s, accreditation standards and quality indicators are met in line with industry guidelines.

Due to the nature of this position travel is required to include overnight stays depending on the service requiring support.

Summary of Duties

  • Provide operational & clinical oversight to residents & care staff
  • Ensure occupancy levels are met & maintained
  • Ensure KPI’s, budgets and financial goals are achieved.
  • Staff leadership, mentoring & development
  • HR & staffing support
  • Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met

Skills and Experience

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse registration
  • Previous experience within aged care leadership role
  • Accreditation knowledge & experience
  • Understanding & working knowledge of ACFI processes
  • Experience with finance, budget & occupancy management
  • Ability to identify & improve areas for improvement
  • Inclusive & open communication skills
