About the Company:

Unidex Healthcare are a privately owned recruitment company established in 2001 and operate across Australia, with our main offices in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland. Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

Due to experiencing an increase in work, we are expressing interest for multiple experienced Enrolled Nurses to work in aged care homes, in home support facilities, etc. Shifts available include morning, afternoon and night shift however flexibility is needed. It is essential that you have completed PPE training and the COVID 19 Infection Control Training.

All roles are casual on-going with hours varying between 20-45 hours per week depending on the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Registered Nurses to provide support to the residents where needed
• Daily assistance and personal care support to residents such as showering, personal hygiene and grooming
• Observe and monitor residents
• Possible administration of medication based upon qualifications and experience
• Ensure OH&S and patient care compliance is strictly adhered to with a particular focus on COVID 19 compliance and wearing appropriate PPE uniform
• Dressing of wounds

Skills & Experiences:

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
• Completed a Diploma in Enrolled Nursing
• Minimum of 1 years' experience as an Enrolled Nurse

• Must have a current National Police Clearance
• Must have 2020 flu vaccination
• Completed NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
• Must have a driver's licence and reliable transport
• Current Blue Card
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate
• Must be available immediately for either day, afternoon or night shift
• Reliable and compassionate
