Health Care Worker Grade 2 or 3Casual

This position is responsible for the delivery of the day-to-day care and services to the residents of the WHCG Residential Care facilities. This position functions under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Position is employed to work as a casual team member across all three campuses of Residential Services being Wimmera Nursing Home, Kurrajong Lodge and Dimboola Campus.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Ability to prioritise and work effectively without direct supervision
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to provide person centred care
Assist clients with medication component preferable
Desirable:
- Previous experience in residential care services
- Current food handling certificate
- Current Level 1 First Aid certificate
