Carrum Downs Aged Care has 50 aged care residential beds and is located in Carrum Downs, Victoria. We pride ourselves on delivering the best care for our residents and firmly believe that happy staff equates to happy residents.

About The Role ...
Enrolled Nurses are valued team members who report to a Registered Nurse and provide and assist with clinical care, some personal care, medication rounds, and teamwork and leadership with Personal Care Workers as well as support the emotional well-being of our residents.
Enrolled Nurses are responsible for providing a high standard of direct clinical care to residents in the residential aged care setting, including administration of medications, and to complete accurate documentation.
About You ...
You are a highly organised and self-motivated individual with excellent clinical knowledge of aged care - someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. You'll have a high level of teamwork with colleagues and empathy and compassion too.
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
Essential Skills And Competencies
- Teamwork with colleagues
- Friendly and positive personality
- Clinical care - medication rounds, wounds care etc.
- Liaising with visiting GP's and allied health providers
- Lead and supervise as required Carers (with some personal care duties with the team where required)
- Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (medication endorsed)
- Diploma Nursing or Certificate with Medication Endorsement
- Computer and documentation skills
- Demonstrated practice of Hygiene and Safety practices in aged care
- Current police check
- Work experience of 6 months or more in aged care
- Food Safety Certificate
- A good understanding of the Aged Care Standards, accreditation and ACFI requirements
- An understanding of continuous improvement and OH&S
