About The Role
Programmed Health Professionals are a leading provider of health care staff in Australia. We are currently recruiting for a Disability Support Worker for our mature male client located in Wacol.
Our clients predominately require assistance with Community Access Support with outings such as appointments, shopping. movies, going out to lunch, etc.
What You Need To Have
- Minimum 6 months of recent disability experience is essential
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Employee Blue Card/Yellow card
- Current drivers' licence, and reliable vehicle
- National Police Check (Current within 12 months)
- Have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support - This qualification is desirable but is not essential for this position
- Male candidates who are physically strong are encouraged to apply for this position
- Reliable and punctual
- Have a strong personality
- Have experience working with challenging behaviours, anxiety and depression
- Have a strong work ethic and outgoing personality
- Dedicated team available 7 days a week to support you
- On-going roster with set clients
- Great hourly rates paid weekly
