About The Role

The Administrative Assistant role will act as the first point of contact for volunteers and is responsible for providing administrative support to Volunteer Services and the Chaplaincy Services teams. This Position is offered as a Part time .6 role with working hours and days to be discussed.

Responsibilities in this role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing support to Volunteer Services Manager and Senior Chaplain
  • Screening phone calls and emails from current volunteers and potential volunteers
  • Utilising the Better Impact Volunteer Management software
  • Maintain databases relating to the management of the Amana Living Volunteer Programme
  • Monitor compliance of the Volunteer programme to ensure it meets all relevant obligations under the appropriate standards and legislative requirements
  • Providing regular reports as requested
  • Photocopying, scanning, faxing and data entry, filing and emailing as required


About You

As the first point of contact for potential and current volunteers the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a can do attitude.

The Successful Candidate Will Meet The Following Criteria
  • Experience in a similar role Administrative position (Minimum 2 years)
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Accurate keyboard skills with advanced experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Aged Care Experience (desirable)
  • Current drivers license
