About the Opportunity

Montclaire offers all levels of respite, permanent and palliative care. Our extra service home is a unique, elegant aged care residence within an outstanding heritage listed building where residents relax and enjoy the quaint, peaceful garden courtyards and a variety of intimate sitting areas. Known to the local Brighton area as a historic treasure, the boutique style home is a community in itself. 

We are actively seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our General Manager, hardworking staff and our wonderful residents and their families with the day to day running of our home. With no two days the same, your duties will expand across multiple functions of the home including rostering, admissions, reception, documentation/ record management and compliance.

This opportunity will be offered on a short-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be required to commit to Montclaire Aged Care until June 2021 and will be offered working hours of 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

About You

The successful applicant must demonstrate:

  • Recent and strong experience in an Administration role (aged care or healthcare desirable)
  • High proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel knowledge (essential)
  • Experience with rostering management and hiring processes (desirable)
  • A caring and kind manner and be comfortable interacting with residents and their families
  • Experience or the ability to use various systems including quality management systems, internal database and Kronos payroll system
  • Highly organised & able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
  • Current Flu Vaccination Certificate

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a National Police Check and Administration Skills test.
