About Aged and Disability Training Services

Aged and Disability Training Services is a new education provider in Wagga currently going through RTO certification to provide training for Cert III in Individual Support (3 streams), First Aid, CPR and Medication Administration. Our focus is to only provide high quality training for Aged and Disability Support Workers to ensure they are job ready with exceptional customer service skills.

An opportunity exists for a passionate Trainer and Assessor to join our new business in Wagga Wagga who can engage, captivate and motivate our students. The Trainer and Assessor imparts their strong industry experience and knowledge into developing and delivering a high quality, accredited training to students.

Responsibilities include the start-to-finish requirements of a course, consisting of:

  • Delivering quality training that will improve the outcomes for both our students and their clients
  • Timely marking and assessing
  • Student support, both throughout the course and ongoing in the workplace
  • Reporting and records management to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
  • Updating training processes and materials as required

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant and current industry experience in Community Services, Aged Care and Disability; nursing experience is highly desirable
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or higher
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery and assessment of workplace or classroom-based programs
  • Qualified to deliver the Certificate III or Certificate IV level qualifications
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have well-developed organisational skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Be a positive team member who is willing to contribute to the business’ continued success
  • Current’s driver’s licence
