This leader in the field of Aged Care is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their large AR team, initially on a contract basis but with the view to go perm in the long run.

The position is responsible for managing the financial side of a Home Care Portfolio with responsibility for completing all tasks including billing, reconciliation of government funding, payments and debt collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Billing private, external and disability clients
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for each client receiving home care package and email to Home Care to post
  • Manually invoicing on an adhoc basis
  • Processing direct debits, credit card, and cheque payments
  • Follow-up on overdue debtors balances in line with organisational policies
  • Occasional AP

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in AP, AR and/or Billing
  • Strong customer services ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail
