AUTUMN AGED CARE - Leaders in Aged Care

The Autumn Aged Care Residential Aged Care Group is seeking a dynamic and energetic Quality & Education Coordinator (existing or aspirant). You may be a Registered EEN, RN or Administrator with aged care experience.

As a part of the management team you will work very closely with the Director of Nursing across a wide range of tasks including :

KEY JOB ASPECTS

-Identify and analyze comments / complaints made by residents or resident representatives

-Be a positive role model and actively participate in the internal and external audit processes

-Reinforcing positive processes to staff

-Identify and action areas of deficit through training and custom solutions

-Monitoring continuous improvement activities, trending, compliance issues measured against Commonwealth and State legislation, the new Aged Care Standards, regulations and guidelines, whilst supporting the overall achievement of compliance objectives

While the role incorporates regulatory compliance it goes beyond that to use quality as a means of timely response to evolving service to better meet the needs of residents at a collective and individual level.

CRITERIA - some of these will see you well suited for the role

-Experience in Aged Care quality systems and processes

-Passionate about resident centered service - have a passion for delivering a high standard of work with the ability to follow policy and procedure

-Strong knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guidelines and Regulations

-Promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement

-Be detail orientated with strong organizational and planning skills

-Team approach

-Derive satisfaction from doing a good job which means our residents and their families have a wonderful experience

-Skilled in using Excel; Word and Email

-Proven ability to develop positive relationships to influence change

-Pragmatic, flexible and logical in approach

-Have a high level of professional written and verbal communication skills

-Clear thinker with a strong work ethic

-Must be results driven and focused

-Current police clearance & drivers license

Training in Autumn Aged Care quality processes will be provided.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
