About the role

In this exciting position you will be an integral part of our Little Mountain Campus Café. We are a hardworking, outgoing team striving to deliver only the highest quality food and coffee alongside the best customer service.

Your responsibilities include making and serving consistent quality coffee with a great attitude. You will also greet customers, take orders utilising a POS system, stocktake and order, table service, functions, keep the café and community centre clean and open and close the café. The café typically operates 8am – 1:30pm Monday to Friday, 8am – 11am Weekends and the successful candidate will need to be available to work on a rostered basis based on these hours. Hours per week will depend on the experience and availability of the successful candidate.

About you

You are passionate about providing the perfect café experience for customers. A positive can-do attitude and a professional manner are part of your expansive repertoire.

Ideally you will have:

  • Solid experience as a barista in a café setting or similar;
  • Experience utilising a point of sale system;
  • A Certificate II in Hospitality is desirable, or equivalent experience;
  • A friendly and outgoing personality and the ability to communicate to people at every level.

A passion for great food, food handling and cooking experience will be highly regarded.
