SHEPPARTON Support Workers-variety of hours, shifts, days
Client specific training will be provided
Must be flexible across a 7 day roster and reliable
Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker looking to step into a rewarding role that allows you to combine your professional skill and passion for patient care?
An exciting opportunity has become available for suitable candidates to provide individualised care and support to clients in our residential house and Attendant Care Support team.
As a Disability Support Worker your responsibilities will include:
Supporting individual clients with personal care
Supporting clients with provision of medication
Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning and laundry
Provide community access support to clients in a variety of areas
Candidate must be able to work varied shifts over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week with varying shift hours
Healthscope Independence Services provides quality disability support services including supported accommodation, personal care and attendant care services to adults living with disabilities resulting from acquired brain injury (ABI) or other complex conditions. Shepparton is an 8 bedroom house offering personal care, assistance with daily living tasks, attending appointments and accessing the community for permanent residents and respite clients
Selection Criteria:
Certificate III or IV in Community Services /Disability/Aged Care or Experience working in the disability sector
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Current National Police Clearance no more than 6 months old
Current State/Territory Driver’s License
Current Working with Children’s Check
All candidates should be up to date with relevant Vaccinations/Immunisations: including Influenza, Hep A & Hep B)
