About Monash Health
Monash Health is an impressive organisation of seven public hospitals, 21 community health sites, five aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education. We provide healthcare for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between, and we have recently opened the new 230-bed Monash Children's Hospital.

About Monash Women's
Monash Women's Maternity Service is the largest maternity service in the state of Victoria and provides care to more than 9,000 women each year across three hospitals - Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital as an integrated, seamless service. As expected for such a large volume service, Monash Women's provides maternity care for normal, healthy women and also for women with complex and sub-specialty needs.
Monash Women's also has an extensive general and sub-specialty gynaecology service consisting of inpatient and outpatient services across Moorabbin Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital and the Cranbourne Centre.

About the Role
Monash Women's is seeking to appoint a consultant obstetrician / gynaecologist to the following session at Dandenong Hospital, with commencement dates as listed:
+ Pregnancy care clinic on Tuesday from 1300-1630 (first clinic on Tuesday 19th May)

It is anticipated the successful applicant will participate in the after hours on call roster.
The clinic involves working with and supervising midwifery and junior medical staff and reports to the Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dandenong Hospital.
The initial appointment will be for one year.

About You
You will have extensive experience as an obstetrician / gynaecologist and undertake the role in a manner that demonstrates commitment to the positive leadership behaviours of Monash Health, to the principles of working together and to Monash Health's Vision, Purpose and Values. Ideally you will have demonstrated abilities in research, clinical governance, leadership and clinical teaching, training and supervision.
