About The Role

Programmed Health Professionals are a leading provider of health care staff in Australia.

We are currently recruiting for a Disability Support Worker to join our team. Our client is an adult female based in the Brisbane suburb of Carindale.

Our client predominately requires support with community access/domestic support along with support and assistance with young children during the shift. This position would be suited to a candidate who lives local to Carindale and surrounding suburbs, and has previous experience working with young children.

What You Need To Have

• Minimum 6 months of recent disability experience
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR certificate
• Current Employee Blue Card/Yellow card
• Current Australian drivers' licence and a reliable vehicle
• National Police Check (Current within 12 months)
• Have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts

• Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support - This qualification is desirable but is not essential for this position

• Reliable & punctual
• Proactive
• Have a strong work ethic
• The ability to demonstrate commitment to your role and client
• Have experience working with anxiety
• Experience working with children
