About The Role
Programmed Health Professionals are a leading provider of health care staff in Australia.
We are currently recruiting for a Disability Support Worker to join our team. Our client is an adult female based in the Brisbane suburb of Carindale.
Our client predominately requires support with community access/domestic support along with support and assistance with young children during the shift. This position would be suited to a candidate who lives local to Carindale and surrounding suburbs, and has previous experience working with young children.
What You Need To Have
- Minimum 6 months of recent disability experience
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Employee Blue Card/Yellow card
- Current Australian drivers' licence and a reliable vehicle
- National Police Check (Current within 12 months)
- Have the flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Cert III or IV in Disability, Community, Aged Care Support or Individual Support - This qualification is desirable but is not essential for this position
- Reliable & punctual
- Proactive
- Have a strong work ethic
- The ability to demonstrate commitment to your role and client
- Have experience working with anxiety
- Experience working with children
- Dedicated team available 7 days a week to support you
- On-going roster with set clients
- Great hourly rates paid weekly
