JOB DESCRIPTION

A sought-after opportunity has become available at Montefiore for a Learning and Development Advisor to join their cohesive and experienced People, Culture and Learning Department on a permanent, full- time basis.

Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and facilitate a broad spectrum of training that will significantly contribute to ensuring a skilled and sustainable workforce within a highly regulated industry.

We would love to hear from you if you have proven experience in adult learning principles (including blended learning), are excited about working within an evolving environment and enjoy collaborating across disciplines to achieve required outcomes.

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in Education, Health, Allied Health or other related discipline or significant equivalent L&D experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willing to work towards
  • An appropriate level of work experience including planning, developing and delivering learning programs, assessing reinforcement of learning and translation into practice
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, influencing and presentation skills
  • Experience in evolving methodologies such as blended learning technology and digital learning
  • Ability to work both autonomously and with a collaborative mindset
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills

Desirable Criteria
  • Working knowledge of the aged care quality standards
  • Experience of working in a health/aged care setting
