About The Role

The Residential Site Manager will lead the team at the Retirement Community in line with the Calvary values of hospitality, healing, stewardship and respect to ensure excellence in care, the provision of wellbeing-based and contemporary, high quality services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.

This role has a strong focus on compliance and financial KPI’s, and will ensure that the Retirement Community is compliant with legislative and statutory requirements, and meets financial expectations and optimises occupancy levels.

The role will also have a strong focus on employee engagement, and will lead, develop and coach the workforce and from this will drive continuous improvement in the facility. As a leader, the Residential Site Manager will contribute to the overall performance of staff at the Retirement Community by continually developing a high performing team.

We are currently seeking an experienced full time permanent Residential Site Manager for our Cooinda facility, located in Singleton NSW!

What You Bring

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in health and/or aged care management.
  • Current Class C Drivers Licence.
  • Experience in coordinating in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with advanced interpersonal, communication, relationship building, stakeholder management, change management and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise workloads, organise resources, control progress and lead others.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data, and participate in the development, and implementation of budgets.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills, including computer literacy & resident assessment & documentation skills.
  • Capacity to take initiative and to be innovative with a demonstrated commitment to a leadership role in a person-centred approach to caring for the older person.
  • Robust knowledge of legislation pertaining to/encompassing Residential Aged Care, particularly knowledge of the Aged Care & Accreditation Standards & ACFI claiming.
  • Experience in managing the provision of quality clinical care in a highly regulated environment.
  • Acknowledgement, understanding and commitment to the principles and practices of risk management and the relevant Australian standards and codes of practice.
