Job Description:Are you an experienced RN with aged care experience looking for a rewarding opportunity? If you have strong clinical skills and are passionate about improving the lives of our residents, and seeking a part time opportunity, you may be a great fit for our Haberfield team. The position: Assessing resident’s needs and discuss the best way to plan and deliver their care; Ensuring correct administration of medication, including injections, and monitoring the results of treatment; Building relationships with the residents to encourage trust, while listening to and interpreting their needs and concerns; Preparing and maintaining resident’s records; Working with resident’s family members to help educate them and the resident about their overall health condition; Responding quickly to emergencies. You will need: Prior experience as a Registered Nurse in an aged care facility; A Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (mandatory); Strong leadership skills with a focus on continuing education for yourself and your team; Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a positive, caring nature; Sound computer skills are essential; Current flu vaccination record; Our Benefits include: Attractive salary packaging benefits up to $15,990p.a. plus an additional meal and entertainment card.
