Senior Quality Assessor

Make a meaningful difference to the landscape of Aged Care in Perth.

Your new company
This Public Sector Department are responsible for regulating aged care services across the country, and are looking to fill a number of vacancies within their Aged Care Quality Assessment team.

Your new role
As a Quality Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting on site accreditation audits, assessments and reviews for residential and home-care services. You will conduct on-site visits and assessments, prepare reports about the performance of providers, offer recommendations and maintain knowledge on the appropriate legislation, policies and procedures. This role may intra-state travel and you will be comfortable working on aged-care sites with occasional overnight stays.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen, have a current drivers licence and be willing to provide evidence of a seasonal influenza vaccination. You will demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

  • Essential - A background in an auditing, regulation or investigation, ideally coupled with health/aged care/related services
  • Competency in applying assessment tools to identify support needs
  • An ability to collect, synthesise and analyse evidence to make findings
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • An ability to work independently and in a team
  • Sound IT skills to write reports using mobile device technology
