We currently have opportunities for suitably qualified, experienced and passionate Registered and Enrolled Nurses on a casual basis.

About the role:

As a Casual Nurse within SVHM, you will be responsible for providing holistic high quality care for patients and their families. When you join the SVHM Nurse Workforce Unit you will be supported to find your feet with a comprehensive orientation, an allocated paid supernumerary day and support from our friendly team.

Classification for this position will range from, RNs ZU4 –ZU13 ($67, 236 - $89,902), ENs IB83 – IB88 ($61,661 - $67,059)

About you:

You are dedicated, empathetic and adaptable. You understand and are interested in the complex and varied needs of our patient population and driven to provide the best care possible. To be successful in this role you should possess:

  • A Bachelor or Diploma of Nursing
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Current condition free registration with AHPRA
  • Recent clinical experience (no more than a 3 year gap) including a minimum of one year experience working in Australia (this can include a Graduate Program)
  • Post Graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
  • Highly developed interpersonal experience
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • You must have the right to permanently live and work in Australia
