About the Role:

With your can do attitude, you will coordinate and attend to the leisure and lifestyle needs of residents in accordance with their social assessments ad care plans and ensuring they are able to “Live Life to the Full” in our home-like environment. Due to an internal movement we are recruiting this permanent Lifestyle Coordinator position in our Daceyville facility. Daceyville is a 58 beds facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the leisure and lifestyle programs, including monitoring and evaluating outcomes
  • Tailor programs that meet individual interests, customs, beliefs, cultural and ethnic backgrounds ensuring all are valued and fostered
  • Coordinate and facilitate both group and individual programs ensuring outcomes are achieved and resulting an effective leisure and lifestyle program environment for residents
  • Monitor and evaluate the program on a regular basis, including suggestions on any improvements
  • Proactively motivate and encourage residents to be involved in the program

About you:

  • Genuinely enthusiastic, caring and compassionate in your commitment to working with elderly people
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal to plan and deliver leisure and lifestyle activities
  • Minimum Cert IV in Leisure and Health
  • Experience in similar coordinator role
  • Availability to work 75 hours per fortnight
