About Monash Women's
Monash Women's Maternity Service is the largest maternity service in the state of Victoria and provides care to more than 10,000 women each year across three hospitals - Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital as an integrated, seamless service. As expected for such a large volume service, Monash Women's provides maternity care for normal, healthy women and also for women with complex and sub-specialty needs.
Monash Women's also has an extensive general and sub-specialty gynaecology service consisting of inpatient and outpatient services across Moorabbin Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital and the Cranbourne Centre.
About the Role
Monash Women's is seeking to appoint sessional consultant obstetricians and gynaecologists at Casey Hospital from Feburary 2021 for the following positions:
- Birthsuite consultants
- Caesarean section list consultant
- Pregnancy care clinic consultants
About you
You will have extensive experience as an obstetrician and gynaecologist and hold FRANZCOG (or equivalent) and undertake the role in a manner that demonstrates commitment to the positive leadership behaviours of Monash Health, to the principles of working together and to Monash Health's Vision, Purpose and Values. Ideally you will have demonstrated abilities in research, clinical governance, leadership and clinical teaching, training and supervision.
