Beata Homecare is an approved home care provider, offering home care services to support the independence of clients from various cultural backgrounds in Melbourne and surrounds.
We are currently looking for Home Care Workers to join our team in the Bass Coast Region (Phillip Island, Corinella, Wonthaggi, Inverloch).
Role:
You will be responsible for delivering quality care to clients in their own homes.
Duties may include:
- domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry)
- personal care (showering, grooming, dressing)
- transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups)
- shopping assistance
- in-home respite
- providing companionship.
This is a casual position.
Requirements:
- Certificate III+ in Individual Support / Aged Care / Disability
- Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
- Police Check (within 3 months)
- First Aid Certificate (within 3 years)
- CPR Certificate (within 1 year)
- Working with Children Check
You must be able to provide original copies of the above document.
- Previous experience as a personal care worker/aged care worker/disability support worker highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate, dedicated, reliable, willing to learn, able to work autonomously

Salary: $48,484.00 - $59,258.00 per year

Experience:
- Aged Care/Disability: 1 year (Required)

Duties:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed
- Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Observing and reporting on changes in the health or status of the client
- Preparing food and feeding clients
- Responding to emergency situations
- Transporting client to appointments
