About the opportunity
The Vulnerability Analyst will initiate vulnerability scans, analyse information and vulnerability findings facing the systems, infrastructure, and resources critical to Bupa. The Vulnerability Analyst will be experienced analysing vulnerability data related to cyber threats and business critical systems that are relevant to Bupa’s environment. Must display enthusiasm and interest in Information Security.
Experience:
- Experience with Vulnerability Management tools such as Tenable
- Ability to make information security risk determinations based of on vulnerability analysis
- Analytical and problem-solving Skills
- Knowledge of packet capture and analysis
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with vulnerability management processes in enterprise environments.
- Proactive and independent mindset as well as a willingness to share knowledge.
- Excellent people-management skills
- Good technical and trouble-shooting ability
Preferred:
- Security Essentials – SEC401 (optional GSEC certification)
Recommended:
- SEC504: Hacker Tools, Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling
- Vendor Platform specific training courses & certification
Optional:
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Hacker Guard: Security Baseline Training – SEC464
