About the role
As a Hotel Services attendant in Grutzner House, you will be responsible for a diverse variety of tasks such as, but not limited to:
- preparing and storing food in accordance to food safety procedures.
- assisting with meal and beverage service to residents
- ensure kitchen is maintained in a clean and tidy manner.
- thorough documentation to assist with accreditation process.
- Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming and spot cleaning of carpets, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors throughout the facility.
- Perform general laundry duties, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, labelling, dry cleaning, folding and storage of residents clothing and personal effects.

Selection Criteria
- Essential : Commitment to the GV Health Values of Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Teamwork and Ethical Behaviour and ability to exhibit behaviour which reflects our values.
- Essential : Food Handler's Certificate of willingness to obtain one
- Essential : Experience in aged care preparation of food and kitchen work
- Essential : Experience in cleaning roles related to keeping a work environment clean
- Essential : Demonstrated experience in working with an aged care population
- Essential : A satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check, Victorian 'Employee' Working with Children Check and completion of a Commonwealth of Australia Statutory Declaration will be required from prospective candidates prior to commencement of employment.
